Evans Concrete LLC uses SMS text messaging to communicate with employees for the purpose of maintaining compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, as well as ensuring safety and operational efficiency. Third-Party Messaging Platform

Evans Concrete LLC uses KnowledgeSync, a third-party application, to deliver SMS notifications to employees. KnowledgeSync functions as a secure messaging platform and only transmits messages on behalf of Evans Concrete LLC. It does not sell or use employee information for any purpose other than facilitating these communications.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

• Evans Concrete LLC does not sell or share employee mobile phone numbers with third parties for marketing or non-business purposes.
• Information may only be disclosed as required by law, regulatory agencies, or in response to lawful requests.
• Access to phone numbers and SMS records is limited to authorized personnel in Operations, HR, Compliance, and IT.

Data Security

• Employee mobile numbers and SMS records are stored in secure systems, including KnowledgeSync, with access restricted to authorized staff.
• Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are in place to protect information from unauthorized use, disclosure, or loss.

Employee Rights & Responsibilities

• Employees consent to receive SMS communications as part of their job responsibilities under FMCSA regulations.
• Employees may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any message. If opting out, employees must contact our Office Manager/VP Sharon DeLoach at 912-739-3733 Ext.104, or by email at sdeloach@evansconcrete.com, to establish an alternative communication method.
• Failure to maintain an alternative channel may result in missed compliance information and could lead to performance-based corrective action.

Retention of Data

SMS records will be retained for as long as necessary to comply with FMCSA requirements, company policy, and applicable laws.
